Problem
There is a clear lack of diversity within STEAM-related careers, and this is because kids are not maintaining interest in STEAM subjects at an early age.
Creativity for Everyone
The challenge was to create a device to spike every child's interest in STEAM and build skills through a fun, educational, interactive physical experience, no matter their background.

Lets Play!
The Lenovo Play is a physical and digital experience that transforms a simple block set into endless building tools. With the Lenovo Play kids have a creative environment to play, make mistakes, and learn in a safe environment. Kids can build in a classroom or bring it home to explore all STEAM activities.

Play Modes
The Lenovo Play can be used in both static and AR modes. The static mode shows the block is brought to life directly on the display screen. An AR headset can also be connected to allow kids to immerse themselves in the world they are creating and share it with their friends.

Parent & Teacher Application
Throughout research we found that it was just as important that the parents were engaged as well as their children. Without an understanding of what they are learning and how the Lenovo Play works, parents may discourage kids from using it. Teachers are able to use the desktop application to monitor individual student's progress while parents may track their kids newest interests.
